Woman Found Shot To Death Inside Maryland Home, Police Say (Developing)

An investigation has been launched after a woman's dead body was found inside a Prince George's County home on Thursday afternoon.

At around 3:45 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 28, officers were called to the 200 block of Harry S Truman Drive to investigate a reported shooting, according to a Prince George's County Police Department spokesperson.

Upon arrival at the Upper Marlboro residence, they found a woman inside suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

No information about the victim or possible shooter has been released by the department as they continue to investigate the fatal incident.
